Chitwan National Park is one the most popular wildlife park in South Asia. It is the best park for those who dream to see wild animals, green forest and flat landscape of Nepal. This National park was declared UNESCO Natural Heritage Site in 1979. The park is especially renowned for its protection of One Horned Rhinoceros, Royal Bengal Tiger and Gharial Crocodile. This park has covered around 932 Sq. Km area. It is 165 Km far from Kathmandu and takes around 20 minutes by flight. Chitwan has a particularly rich flora and fauna.

The people inhabiting the Chitwan District are predominantly peasant farmers cultivating mainly food and cash crops such as rice, maize, wheat, beans, lentils, mustard and vegetables. Chitwan is famous in Nepal for mustard growing and production of mustard oil. Chitwan is very popular for tasty Taas, a spicy fried goat meat dish served with bhuja or cheura available in many restaurants. Day 1: Arrive at Kathmandu.

After landing at the Tribhuwan International Airport, you will be greeted by our representative than who will drop you off at hotel where you staying by. Then we checked into the hotel, we refresh and rest for a while. In the evening, a welcome dinner will be organized. Overnight in Kathmandu.


Day 2: Drive to Chitwan.

You will arrive at Sauraha bus Stand, Bharatpur Airport or Tadi via Kathmandu. You will be then transferred to a lodge where you will be offered a welcome drink and refreshment. After short break, there will be a briefing on the activities we will be engaged in during our stay in Chitwan. We then walk on the banks of the Rapti River to enjoy the sunset in the sub-tropical jungles of Chitwan. Later in the evening we join activities like village tour, visit Elephant breeding center and bird watching. In the late evening, we enjoy dinner along with a brief cultural program and tharu dance. Overnight in Chitwan.


Day 3: Chitwan day tour.

Today here we wake up early in the morning. After breakfast, we take a canoeing down the river followed by a jungle safari to the resort. Here we take a lunch then after lunch we take the time to rest, swim or play tennis for a while. You will have a great opportunity for Bird watching and also will see 2 species of rare crocodiles Gharial and the Marsh Mugger. In the afternoon, we take an Elephant Safari inside the park where you can see rhinos, deer, and bird’s life and, if you are lucky, you can see a tiger too. We visit Chitwan National Park too which is one of the UNESCO world heritage sites. In the evening we will enjoy authentic Nepali dinner around Tharu village. After dinner, we will enjoy the cultural program and dance again. Overnight in Chitwan.


Day 4: Drive back to Kathmandu.

Early in the morning, we spend our time bird-watching as Chitwan National Park is also home to a large variety of resident and migratory birds. Our Chitwan Tour in Nepal comes to an end today. We then have breakfast and drive towards historical city Kathmandu.


Day 5: Kathmandu sightseeing.

Today, after early morning breakfast, we begin a tour to many of Kathmandu's most historical and spiritual attractions. Some of these monuments are considered World Heritage sites, such as the Historic Durbar Square, the sacred Hindu temple of Pashupatinath, the famous "Temple of the Monkeys" (Swayambhunath) and the Buddhist Sanctuary (Bouddhanath), which is one of the biggest stupas in the world. At early evening, there will be a pre-trip discussion during which we will meet our trip leader and other team members too. Overnight in Kathmandu.


Day 6: Departure to home.

Our Chitwan and Kathmandu tours in Nepal comes to an end today. Our representative will take you to the airport approximately 3 hours before the scheduled flight.
