Day 1: Kathmandu sightseen and night stay at Nagarkot.

After breakfast, we begin our sightseeing tour by visiting UNESCO World Heritage Sites within Kathmandu. Kathmandu Durbar Square showcases Nepalese art and architecture at its best. The architecture is typical of the Malla dynasty who ruled over Nepal from the 12th to the 18th century. Swayambhunath Temple is popular among the foreigners as the Monkey Temple owing to the large monkey population residing in the area. Pashupatinath Temple is situated on the banks of river Bagmati and is one of the principal temples of Lord Shiva. The Bauddhanath Stupa is one of the largest stupas in South Asia which is built on the ancient trade route to Tibet. In the evening we drive to Nagarkot. We will visit Nagarkot for both sunrise and sunset view. Nagarkot is a village located about 25 miles east of Kathmandu, Nepal. It is also renowned for its sunrise and sunset views of the Himalayas. Overnight in Nagarkot.

Day 2: Nagarkot to Bhaktapur via Changunarayan temple.

Today we visit Nagarkot, a village in Bhaktapur which sits at 7,200 ft and boasts stunning Himalayan vistas. We wake up early morning so you can enjoy most scenic breath-taking sunrise over the Himalayas including Mt. Everest, Annapurna, Langtang, Dorje Lakpa and Gauri Shanker, Ganesh Himal, etc. After breakfast, we start our hiking to Changunarayan Temple. The hiking trail from Nagarkot to Chagunarayan gradually descends through the terraced fields through the ‘Tamang Village.’ It is also popular to enjoy wilderness and serenity via lush rhododendron and other vegetation viewing Kathmandu valley and alluring mountain summits to the north. The strolling is simple with steady downhill and genuinely level ways. It will take around 4 hours to reach Changunarayan, the most established pagoda style Hindu Temple in Nepal. Subsequent to visiting this UNESCO World Heritage Site and having our lunch, we return drive back to Kathmandu to end our intriguing day hike. Overnight in Kathmandu.
