Day 1: Day01: Kathmandu to Paro by flight and transfer to Thimpu.

As our flight nears Bhutan we can enjoy amazing views of the Himalayas including the sacred Chomolhari and Jichu Drake peaks. At the airport, you will be greeted by a representative from Colors Nepal. Our Bhutanese represent / guide will pick you up from Paro and together we will drive to Thimphu. We will enjoy the scenic drive along the Pachu River. We take a short break to cross the 15th-century suspension bridge and visit the Tachog Lakhang (temple). Upon arrival, we check in hotel in Thimpu and if the time permits we will visit the Farmer’s market, Archery march and explore the craft bazaar in the evening. Overnight in Thimpu.

Day 2: Day02: Sightseen in Thimpu.

fter breakfast, we tour around Thimphu. Situated at an altitude of 2400m, Thimphu is the center of government, religion, and commerce. The capital has an interesting combination of tradition and modernity and includes some of the most advanced and remotest parts of the kingdom. The city is known for its Buddhist sites. We will visit Tashichho Dzong, Memorial Chorten, Buddha Dordenma Statue and the school of traditional painting. The massive Tashichho Dzong is a fortified monastery and government palace with gold-leaf roofs. The Memorial Chorten, a whitewashed structure with a gold spire, is a revered Buddhist shrine dedicated to Bhutan’s third king, Jigme Dorji Wangchuck. You can also visit the National Library and Institute of traditional medicine. The paper factory uses traditional methods to produce the authentic Bhutanese paper known as Deh-sho. Located 1 km from Thimphu City. Overnight in Thimpu.

Day 3: Day03: Drive from Thimpu to Punakha.

After breakfast, we will drive to the Dochula Pass (3,100 meters), where we will have a spectacular view of the Himalayas on a clear day. We will start a 2-hour walk to Lungchutse Monastery from 108 chortens. The trail crosses the rhododendron forests. Walking along the high ridges dotted with colorful Buddhist prayer flags offers breathtaking views of the Himalayas, as well as incredible views of the valleys below the pass. After a while we return back to Dochula Pass. After lunch, we explore the forests of rhododendrons, firs and hemlocks. Along the way, we will stop at Metshina village and take a 20-minute stroll through the rice paddies to visit Chimi Lhakhang, which is a fertility temple dedicated to the Divine Madman or Lama Drukpa Kuenley. Upon arrival at Punakha we stroll in the market, visit the little handicrafts shop at the entrance to the town, and perhaps take refreshments at a local restaurant. Overnight in Punakha.

Day 4: Day04: Drive from Punakha to Paro.

At dawn, we drive 12 km north of Punakha and begin our 2-hour drive to Khamsum Yulley Namgyal Chorten. It is located on a beautiful hillock called Ngezergang and contains elaborate paintings dedicated to the old section of Buddhism. We hike further to Punakha. On the way back, we visit the Punakha Dzong, built strategically at the junction of Pho Chhu and Mo Chhu rivers in 1637 by Shabdrung Ngawang Namgyal to serve as the religious and administrative centre of the region, which has played an important role in Bhutan's history. In the afternoon, we drive to Paro and spend the night there.

Day 5: Day05: Sightseen at paro.

After breakfast, we tour around Paro. Paro is a valley town in Bhutan, west of the capital, Thimphu. It is the site of the country’s only international airport and is also known for the many sacred sites in the area. We visit Rinpung Dzong, meaning ‘fortress of the heap of jewels’. Next, visit Kichu Lhakhang, the oldest temple in the country. From here we will be taken to the Drugyal Dzong (Bhutan Victory Fort), which was built in 1646 to commemorate Bhutan's victory over Tibetan invaders during the 1600s. On a clear day we can see Mount Chomolhari, Bhutan's second-highest mountain, at 7,314meters. In the evening we stroll around the streets of Paro. Along the main street, there is a complex of traditional architecture with richly decorated buildings housing small shops, institutions, and restaurants. Overnight at Paro.

Day 6: Day06: Fly from Paro to Kathmandu.

After early breakfast at the hotel, we drive to the airport for flight to Kathmandu. Our representative will help you with exit formalities and then bid you farewell. Upon our arrival in Kathmandu, our airport representative will pick you up from the airport and then you will be transferred to the hotel. After freshening up we will stroll around the city of Kathmandu and explore the local things. In the evening, you will be destined to your onward destination.
